Fifteen cities and communities and one yard on Kendall Street. Here is every place we cover, grouped by area, each with its own page on access, local character and what the city or county code says about containers in the street and who may haul.

We run roll-off containers out of 1510 Kendall St — inside Lakewood city limits in Jefferson County, a block off West Colfax — to every town below. Distance is the first thing that changes. Approximate road miles from the yard: Edgewater about 1, Wheat Ridge about 2, central Lakewood about 3, downtown Denver about 5, Arvada and Applewood about 6, Westminster about 8, Sheridan and Bow Mar about 9, Englewood about 10, Golden about 11, Morrison, Littleton and Columbine about 13 and Ken Caryl about 14. Same-day or next-day is available in many areas depending on availability, and route timing decides the rest.
The second thing that changes is the law. In Lakewood the City runs no trash service, a street placement needs a no-charge Public Way permit and only when the property has no suitable spot (§8.14.028), dumpsters belong on an all-weather surface (§8.14.025(D)), and haulers need a City Waste Hauler License (Ch. 5.29, as rewritten by Ordinance O-2026-30). Denver issues its street permit only to the container company and licenses solid waste haulers, construction debris included (DRMC 48-62). Unincorporated Jefferson County — Applewood, Ken Caryl and most of Columbine — charges $50 for a container permit in the parking lane, never on arterials. Edgewater issues a ten-day police permit and bans dumpsters in alleys (§11-1-40); Wheat Ridge requires a Class D licence to occupy the public way with storage containers (§21-21); Golden wants a right-of-way permit and NO PARK signs 24 hours ahead; Arvada has its own right-of-way dumpster permit and licenses trash haulers (§90-51); Westminster licenses collectors and names roll-offs (§5-7-8); Englewood (EMC 5-26) and Sheridan (§22-217) license haulers; and Bow Mar allows no dumpsters in the street without the Public Works Commissioner's approval (§11-18). We found no exclusive roll-off franchise anywhere in that list. We are licensed & insured. Each town page quotes the section and gives the office to call. We would rather say it here than find out on delivery day.
The service area
The run splits three ways: Lakewood and next door, with Edgewater, Wheat Ridge, Applewood and west Denver; Golden, Arvada and the foothills, with Morrison and Westminster; and the south metro, from Sheridan and Englewood to Bow Mar, Littleton, Columbine and Ken Caryl.
Lakewood itself, where the yard is, plus Edgewater, Wheat Ridge and Applewood next door and west Denver to the east — roughly 1 to 6 road miles out (approx.). Lakewood runs no trash service and licenses its haulers, Edgewater licenses every refuse hauler and issues 10-day Police street permits, Wheat Ridge needs a Class D licence for containers in the street, Applewood is unincorporated Jefferson County, and Denver street permits are pulled only by the container company. Same-day or next-day, depending on availability; call early in the day for the best chance of same-day.
Golden, Morrison, Arvada and Westminster — roughly 6 to 13 road miles west and north of the yard (approx.). Golden, Arvada and Westminster license waste haulers and need a City permit for a dumpster in the street; Westminster also needs written authorization for a dumpster at a house without a building permit. Morrison sits on Highway 8, where the container goes on private property. Same-day or next-day, depending on availability; call early in the day for the best chance of same-day.
Sheridan, Englewood, Bow Mar, Littleton, Columbine and Ken Caryl — roughly 9 to 14 road miles south of the yard (approx.). Sheridan and Englewood license trash haulers, Bow Mar and Littleton need a permit for anything in the street, and Columbine and Ken Caryl are unincorporated Jefferson County with Littleton mailing addresses and a $50 County street permit. The Columbine page is the Columbine CDP, not the Town of Columbine Valley, which we do not serve. Same-day or next-day, depending on availability.

Many of them, depending on where the trucks are and when you call — early in the day gives you the best chance. The closest runs from the yard are Edgewater, about 1 road mile, Wheat Ridge, about 2, and central Lakewood, about 3; the furthest are Morrison, Littleton and Columbine, about 13, and Ken Caryl, about 14.
Yes, call — the neighborhoods of Lakewood and the communities between our towns are inside our run; they just do not have their own pages. Tell us the address and we will tell you which city's or county's rules apply. Many unincorporated Jefferson County homes carry a Littleton mailing address, and the permit follows the jurisdiction, not the mailing city.
Because most cities here license the companies that haul waste — Lakewood, Denver, Englewood, Sheridan, Westminster, Edgewater, Arvada and Golden among them — and each writes its own rule. We found no exclusive roll-off franchise anywhere we serve. We state what each code says.
The flat rate depends partly on the delivery location, so the furthest towns can cost a little more — we say so up front.
To a facility approved for that kind of waste — Lakewood requires a state-approved landfill or an approved collection and transfer facility (§8.14.040). Recyclable material goes to local Colorado recycling facilities whenever possible, and Lakewood and Denver permits that require recycling are documented with weight tickets.
