Roll-off dumpster rental in Applewood
Approx. 6 road miles from the yard, around 15 minutes.
Applewood is approx. 6 road miles west of the yard, around 15 minutes — same-day or next-day, depending on availability; call early in the day for the best chance of same-day. It is an unincorporated Census-designated place of 7,833 at the 2020 Census, in Jefferson County, so County rules apply.
Jefferson County's Central Plains Area Plan says West 32nd Avenue started as a territorial road between Golden and Denver, originally called the Middle Golden Road, and that Applewood was platted after the Second World War between West 32nd Avenue and the base of South Table Mountain. We found no County hauler licence or franchise and no County trash service, so households and contractors pick their own.

Remodels in 20s, roofs in 10s and 20s, yard and tree clean-ups in 15s and 20s, estate clean-outs in 30s, and a 10 or 15 for concrete, brick and dirt — weight restrictions keep heavy loads in the smaller boxes. Colorado bans waste electronics (C.R.S. 25-17-303), lead-acid batteries (C.R.S. 30-20-1002) and used oil (C.R.S. 30-20-1005) from landfills, and tires go only to tire recyclers (C.R.S. 30-20-1414).

Permits, placement and who may haul in Applewood
Who may haul — the rule that matters: Applewood is unincorporated Jefferson County. We found no County hauler licence or franchise — the County's licences and permits list has none — and no County trash service. We're licensed and insured.
In the street: Jefferson County requires a permit to place a dumpster, roll-off or other container on a public street: $50, plus 2.5% by card, with about 48 hours for review. The County's right-of-way policy says containers are not permitted on arterials nor generally along collectors, must fit within a parking lane at least 20 feet from any corner, alley or entrance, need reflective tape or a cone on each corner, may stay up to 180 days, and may never block a sidewalk, tree lawn, travel lane or alley; no more than two containers per application (Policy sec. C).
State highways: County right-of-way excludes state highways, which belong to CDOT, and we found no CDOT permit path for a temporary container — so beside a state highway the container goes on private property.
Knocking something down: Colorado requires an inspection by a Colorado-certified asbestos inspector and a CDPHE demolition notice ten working days before any demolition starts, homes included, even if no asbestos is found (AQCC Regulation 8). Asbestos never goes in our containers — tell us if the survey finds any.

How it works
Booking a dumpster in Applewood
Booking a container here takes one phone call and about five minutes.
- 1
Call and tell us the job
One short conversation. We ask the location, what you are clearing — a cleanout, a renovation, a roof, a yard, a job site — roughly how much there is, and how much room the driveway or lot gives us.
- 2
We size it and quote it flat
You get one number that covers delivery, pickup, disposal, the standard rental period and an included weight allowance. If a smaller box does the job we will say so. If it is concrete, shingles or dirt, we say up front that weight decides the size.
- 3
Delivered where you want it
The driver sets the container on the driveway, lot or job site where you asked, on a hard surface rather than the lawn. Often same-day or next-day, depending on availability. You do not need to be home.
- 4
Load it on your schedule
Keep it below the top edge and keep the banned items out — paint and solvents, chemicals, oil and fuel, batteries, tires, propane tanks and gas cylinders, medical waste, asbestos, and TVs, computers and other electronics. Need more time or a swap mid-job? One call.
- 5
We haul it and dispose of it right
The load is covered or secured and goes to an approved facility, with metal, concrete, cardboard and yard debris recycled through local Colorado facilities whenever possible. You get your driveway back the way you left it.
