Permits, placement and who may haul in Edgewater
Who may haul — the rule that matters: §6-8-20(a) says no refuse hauler shall operate in the City without a licence issued under that article, and a refuse hauler is anyone who, for consideration, collects or hauls refuse over any street, alley or other public place in the City. People in demolition, construction or landscaping hauling their own refuse are exempt. We found no exclusive roll-off franchise. We're licensed and insured.
Hours: refuse may be collected or hauled only between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. (§6-8-50(a)), so drop-offs, swaps and pickups in Edgewater are booked in that window.
